George Friedman is the founder and chairman of Geopolitical Futures and an internationally recognized geopolitical forecaster and strategist on global affairs. Dr. Friedman is a New York Times best-selling author, and his most popular book, “The Next 100 Years,” is kept alive by the prescience of its predictions. His books have been translated into more than 25 languages. Dr. Friedman has briefed numerous corporate, military and government organizations and appears regularly as an expert on international affairs, foreign policy and intelligence in major media. He was recently appointed a senior adviser to Gallup. Prior to starting Geopolitical Futures in 2015, Dr. Friedman was the chairman of Stratfor, which he founded in 1996. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political philosophy from the City College of New York and a Ph.D. in government from Cornell University.
