Live Discussion: Poland, the Three Seas Initiative and War Updates

George Friedman wrote in The Next 100 Years that Eastern Europe is going to be the most dynamic region in the continent, and that Poland will become a major power. Enter, the Intermarium and the Three Seas Initiative, consisting of the 13 European Union States located between the Baltic, Black and Adriatic seas. For this week's Club session, George is joined by GPF Analyst Ridvan Bari Urcosta in Warsaw for a discussion on Eastern Europe's evolution and what is happening geopolitically between Poland and Ukraine. In our Q&A session, Club members asked about Eastern Europe's ability to realize its potential, Poland's relationship to Russia, shifting trade dynamics as Eastern Europe evolves, as well as logistic strategies in times of conflict.

Live Discussion: Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI) in the AI Age

The internet has created an interesting evolution in the way that propaganda and misinformation is released out into the world. For this week's Club session, George is joined by (ret) Rear Admiral Doug Fears for a discussion on the way that information warfare has changed in the age of artificial intelligence. George's email aside, it has certainly complicated the way we get our news and information, and created some unique opportunities for bad actors to thrive. In our Q&A session, Club members asked what people can do to protect themselves from being manipulated by 'AI slop', how misinformation is being regulated, and whether FIMI in our opponent's arenas can be considered advantageous.

Live Discussion: Answering Your Questions: Middle East and More

The Strait of Hormuz has historically been a major geopolitical and geoeconomical chokepoint, and it has Club members asking what are, or could be, the alternatives to a critical trade corridor that's become so volatile? And related to the ongoing conflicts in the region, what are the constraints and imperatives for Iran, the US, and Israel? On this week's ClubGPF live discussion, George Friedman was joined by Kamran Bokhari to break down the wide-ranging questions and topics on the Middle East that have come in from Club members in an effort to understand the situation and all the primary and secondary players involved.
