George Friedman is the founder and chairman of Geopolitical Futures and an internationally recognized geopolitical forecaster and strategist on global affairs. He was recently appointed a senior adviser to Gallup. Prior to starting Geopolitical Futures in 2015, Dr. Friedman was the chairman of Stratfor, which he founded in 1996. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political philosophy from the City College of New York and a Ph.D. in government from Cornell University.
